AngeL of OblivioN Chapter IV: Deal Of Fate
"You wouldn't want to be like them, do you?"
I looked at him and cried,
"What do you want from me?!"
"It's not that hard, you see..", he explained,
"all you got to do is guard Oblivion."
I got no idea what he meant by that..
But he continued,
"Oblivion.. it's a place that I have made recently..
It's a place where all forgotten things go..
Whether if it's someone.. something.. somewhere..
or even sometime.. If it's forgotten..
then Oblivion is the place they would be.."
He raised his hand and wings started to move.
It spread out magnificently..
"These wings would make a very nice seal..
would you be my angel.. oh, angel of oblivion..?"
"get me out of here! I don't need any of these!"
I yelled and cried.
"some are already in there... come and see.."
A blinding light came out of nowhere..
I covered my eyes.. after a while..
I started to open my eyes..
"Where... am I.....?"
All the things I saw...
Grass.. large pink-petalled trees...
flowers all around.. a blue sky..
a plane.. pink petals in the wind..
a river.. clouds... slippers...
some keys.. a river... books.. papers...
a child.. a monster.. some demons and angels...
I glided down the river.. I touched it..
And it really is a river.. but..
I felt nothing..
It's hollow.. empty..
"Nice place, huh?", a cold voice came from behind me.
I got startled. It was him.
"This is Oblivion..."
"I don't understand..", I asked and wondered,
Why do I need to guard such a place?
This place is so hollow.. everything here is empty.."
"Did you looked around very closely?", he asked.
He raised and opened his hand..
then everything got sucked up to him..
it turned into an orb and floated in his hand..
"let me refresh you.... Raven..."
My eyes shut closed and things that I saw
inside Oblivion came running fast on my mind..
that tree.. the river.. that child..
My eyes opened and started to realize..
"Who.. who am I..?"
"Did that ring a bell..?"
I was shocked as I come to realize..
Those are all mine.. those are...
All my memories.. evrything that I am..
And all of it is in his hand..
My head started to hurt..
"This is my deal, Raven..
Be my seal.. and you'll get yourself back.."
"Give that back, you devil!"
"Nah-ah-ah! An attitude you got there..", he provoked,
"There is no other option, Raven.."
"This is your destiny.."
"No it's not!" I yelled..
He started moving his fingers..
and gave a hint that he's gonna crush it in his hand..
"No! Please... no...", I pleaded and cried..
"That's more like it..", he chuckled.
I jumped out, opened my wings, and moved straight
to him and tried to snatched my orb..
but he moved too fast for me..
"So.. this is how you want to play it, huh?!",
he exclaimed, "then go run for it!"
The orb shot up. I flew to it.. as fast as I could..
It's shooting so fast..
There I was racing for what I am...
Almost there.. I can almost reach it..
Flying like I never flew before..
