AngeL of Oblivion Chaper II: Rise and Fall
With my new wings I flew so fast..
these wings are the greatest!
I can fly so fast and for so far..
I started soaring high..
And beyond the clouds, there they were..
thousands of people..
Flying up to the greater skies..
I saw the one-winged guy..
He's in a bit of a trouble with his wings again..
He looked at me but I looked away..
Then there he was, the guy with my other wings..
I want to go to him 'coz he seemed to be struggling..
A part of me wants to help him..
Yet, a part of me want to see him suffer..
I felt bad and flew higher..
I flew so fast..
After a while, I passed everyone else..
and at last I got there first..
Heaven felt so warm..
Then I saw a guy.. standing..
I walked towards him..
and as I come, he said,
"So, You're the first one. How did it feel..?"
I looked at his face and didn't see a smile..
He looked at me and asked,
"How did it feel to fly effortlessly..
and see people struggling to fly..?"
I was shocked and my eyes began to tear..
then he said,
"You didn't even give a hand.. Now tell me--"
Tears ran on my face as soon as these words came out..
And even before I can give a reply, he asked,
"are you deserving..?"
"do you really belong here..?"
"are you of any good..?"
His voice echoed over and over inside my head..
I couldn't bear it anymore, so I ran..
Dived out, and fall as fast as I could..
Tears pouring in my eyes..
I closed them..
And waited for Hell..
